Plate Palette ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, including:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your Google account profile picture (if available)

We do not access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or any other Google data beyond this basic profile information.

We also collect information you provide directly within the app, such as meal plans, recipes, preferences, or other content you create while using Plate Palette.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide and improve the core features of Plate Palette
  • Communicate with you about your account or the app, if needed

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard hosting and database providers (including Supabase). We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Sharing Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • When required by law
  • With service providers who help us operate the app (such as our hosting/database provider), under obligations to keep your data confidential

Your Choices

You can:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request that we delete your account and associated data
  • Revoke Plate Palette's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions settings.

Children's Privacy

Plate Palette is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
